My daughter suffers from heart palpitations when she becomes too anxious. My presence can help her.

First time in my only child’s life that we haven’t seen each other, my daughter and us, for 2 1/2 yrs.

I am planning to visit Australia via a tourist visa, like during pre covid time, for only a maximum of 3 months. Due to the infrequency of flights now to Adelaide I can stay even less than 3 months.

We have lost our physical touch and at times we feel painfully apart. We don’t have any family members except her. She is homesick and a reserved girl. She suffers from heart palpitations when she becomes too anxious and has consulted doctors about it. She needs rest after her busy works. My presence can help her. We just want to spend more time with her as she is our only child.

My husband misses her presence deeply too. Both of us are 70.

Hope the backlog will be cleared by putting extra hours and personnel to work and by increasing the number for parents migration. Family bonding is important.
